The Soul Urge
Each letter of the alphabet has a matching number (from 1 to 9). Here is a table showing the number value of each letter.

Soul Urge
To find out how a person views life, we look at the number of his or her soul urge, which is found by adding up just the vowels of the name. The soul urge tells us the motives that lie behind one’s acts. In your soul urge is revealed your heart’s desire, your attitudes toward things and people, and what you consciously want out of life.
To find the soul urge, add the vowels of each name separately and reduce to a single digit. For example, here is the soul urge of international film star Alain Delon.

Though it is customary to reduce the digits of the vowels of each name to single digits before tallying your soul urge, in instances when the soul urge adds up to a 2 or 4, you need to check to be sure that you haven’t lost an 11 or 22. To do so, we add each number of all the vowels across.
(1 + 1 + 9 + 5 + 6 = 22),
In fact, Alain Delon has a 22/4 soul urge
However, if your soul urge adds up to 22/4, you’re likely to display behaviors that reflect the meanings of both 22 and 4. Sometimes, the rebelliousness of 22 will conflict with the conservatism of 4. This is one of the reasons why nervous tension accompanies the number 22.
Also remember that a person with a 11/2 soul urge will at times act like a person with a 2 soul urge. So if your soul urge adds up to an 11, read what is written for both the 11 and 2 soul urges.
